Claire Walter - Controller

Hi, I’m Claire. As the Controller at JS Homes, I’m deeply involved in all financial aspects of the business, and I truly enjoy being part of such a dedicated team. With 30 years of accounting experience across various industries, I can honestly say that this one holds a special place in my heart. We don't just build houses – we create homes, the places where families come together and grow.

 JS Homes is a family business, and the sense of community here is something I deeply value. The team treats everyone like family, making it an incredibly welcoming and supportive environment.

 Family means the world to me. Growing up in a large family, I cherish the time spent with my six siblings, twenty-two nieces and nephews, and thirty grandnieces and nephews. I’m proud to have contributed three children and four grandchildren to our ever-growing family tree. My 93-year-old mother is still active in our family gatherings and vacations and has her sights set on living to 120!

 Originally from Northern NJ, I’m a recent transplant to this area, and I’ve always had a love for the beach. My weekends often include lazy days at Cape Henlopen, kayaking in the bay, and enjoying margaritas at sunrise. I’m also a frequent traveler on the Lewes Ferry to Cape May, where I spend time with family and friends enjoying all the Jersey Shore has to offer.
