 Jeffrey Schwartz - Owner & President

Some people have jobs, others have callings…as a homebuilder, I am fortunate enough to fall into both these categories. Designing and constructing a house, which will become someone’s home, is a unique, rewarding feeling. As I watch these homes grow into neighborhoods this is even more satisfying.

I have been in the industry for nearly 45 years. After graduating high school and while attending college at University of Delaware, I worked at my father’s home building company for over 20 years. Upon his passing, I then began JS Homes.

As owner of the company, I oversee all operations and I am able to have input into all facets of the business. Over the past 45 years a lot has changed, including house elevations, floor plans and features, but the relationship between the builder and the purchaser has remained a constant.

Purchasing a home is often the largest investment a family makes and our salespeople, project managers and warranty personnel provide individual attention to each house until completion.

On a personal level, my wife, Susan, and I have three grown children. As empty nesters, I spend much of my time working with non-profit organizations raising money and assisting in building and expanding communities in Israel. I love that I can use my expertise and help others in need. I also enjoy spending time reading, fiddling around the house, cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles and being with my family, especially during trips to the beach.

My life has been all about building homes; first with my father and now with a family of employees and contractors who share my passion. It has been an exciting journey, never boring and I feel very blessed to be able to pursue this path.
